I am dedicated to guiding my clients toward hope for the future, and helping them attain wellness in the present. To do that, I offer an open, supportive space where clients can communicate their experiences free of any judgment, and cultivate deeper self-compassion.

In my office, the treatment process is a collaboration, not a one-way conversation. No one has more expertise about your life than you do, and I believe it’s crucial to listen carefully and closely to clients in determining how we move forward with treatment

My approach incorporates techniques drawn from third-wave cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Third-wave CBT focuses not just on reducing the symptoms associated with mental health concerns, but on transforming your sense of well-being at its root. A focal point of the therapeutic experience is helping clients build “metacognition”: an awareness of their thought processes and of how they can transform the way they think.

Understanding how and why the brain functions the way it does—at the neuroscientific level—is key to a client’s ability to confront their specific mental health concerns. One of my roles as a therapist is to guide clients through that process of understanding, and help them eliminate any sense of stigma or self-blame they might associate with their experiences.

As a certified and internationally registered yoga instructor, I also integrate mindfulness and mind-body-oriented approaches into my practice. I believe it’s vital to pursue holistic pathways to wellness.

Unlike other therapeutic methods that focus exclusively on talking through a client’s experience, my approach foregrounds helping clients take direct action toward change.

Above all, I equip clients with the tools they need to feel empowered to achieve real, transformative results.
